 I think we will see a steady increase in aapl's share price over the coming weeks. Firstly, with the continued introduction of the iphone, as well as the immenent arrival of the next gen. ipods, i think confidence in apple as an all encompassing "brand" is at an all time high. Secondly, despite earlier reports this week of security weaknesses in the iphone (igoldengoose?) aapl has only seemed to experience mild wobbles from what would usually be an event of major concern.

So i could be wrong in using the word "steady" as appleinsider notes

"After surging for the past several weeks, shares of iPhone maker Apple Inc. could experience some short-term volatility around the company's fiscal third quarter earnings report this Wednesday, warns one Wall Street analyst."

I'm sticking to my initial forecast, but it looks like we may be in for some choppy seas first.

THIS IS A BIT OF A TRIAL

Take me with a grain of salt...

I've been looking at hd's previous history and have noticed a rec curing "3 spike" pattern. Usually within a period (one month) hd will spike highest within the first few weeks, then slightly lower sometime in the third, followed by a loosely similar spike in the forth to fifth weeks. Bear in mind I am taking very little account of current events in regard to hd, this is really just meant to be a wee experiment to test whether it is feasible to use this method. Although, wouldn't it be interesting if this prediction came true? well see...
